the first season of dark angel was good but i didn't really like season two that much. a couple of episodes were okay but the rest of the episodes in season two are pretty lame. i guess that's why the show was cancelled. oh well, life goes on. better shows have come and replaced dark angel (lost, ncis, beyond belief: fact or fiction, the mentalist there are a few other shows).Could be better - Jared
Well what can i say, i never really watched the show when it was on but i own both seasons. The show is great, but not to great. What i mean is this show could have had soooo much depth to it. It's really not to out there we know genetic manipulation is growing and becomming more complex and more things can be done but the show never really graspes the depth of the whole thing. We're talking about a bomb causing mass caos and bring the United States into a huge depression. Visually it's very well done, you see the corruption and homelessness going on all around, it's hard to find a fresh chicken to eat or toothpaste is rare, while there are still people well off. It wasn't a war it was a depression. The show has some great story lines it didn't really focus on more then fighting and not getting caught, it seemed to have beat around teh bush that this was in fact a depression taking place it seemed more like a backdrop for a fighting show. It's hard to imagine the devistation that would take a country into a depression(A depression being more then 1/4 of that country's population being unemployed with no forseable econmic growth) and while the show could have emplyed both easily it seemed to have missed that one big part of the picture.Dark Angel: Season 2 - movie_pro
In season two of this bleak futuristic series, highly developed android Max continues to search for more of her own kind. DARK ANGEL was created by Charles Eglee along with James Cameron, who followed his astounding success TITANIC with this atmospheric science-fiction saga.
