I can make a review before I receive it since I use to watch this show every time it would be on TV. I use to watch John Cleese when he was on the Monthy Phython show on TV and I am still a big fan of his. He is still funny after all these years, in the movies that he appeared on as well as on the episodes of Will and Grace. It was a very funny show when it came out years ago and is still very funny. Enjoy!British Humour at its very best - Yogi
You really need to make sure you visit the washroom before watching this. It will have you in stitches from start to finish. The situations Basil gets himself into are truly outrageous. My favourite scene is in Communication Trouble, where he mouths the words he is saying to make the lady think her hearing aid isn't working, then shouts at her when she turns it up. Top notch!!classic - mr._Brightside
Hadn't watched this in years. Can't believe it's 30 years old! It has NOT lost it's touch. Still had me in stitches!
There is not one episode i did not enjoy. They are all cleverly written and became a milestone for future tv comedies.
My funniest episode is the one where the Germans visit. That is the funniest line...
"will you stop talking about the war!"
"well you started it"
"no we didn't"
"yes you did, you invaded Poland!"
