Gilligan's Island: Season 1
Now way off the island. No escaping the fun.
A three-hour tour? No way! Not when you have all 36 Season-One episodes of Gilligan's Island plus a cargo of DVD extras that include the originally unaired pilot.
The S.S. Minnow first sailed into living rooms on September 26, 1964, and from there steered into legend. Certainly much credit for the show's three-year run and amazing afterlife goes to the remarkable cast whose characters managed to endure life on the island while never losing their comic timing. Bravo to Bob Denver, Alan Hale, Jim Backus, Natalie Schaefer, Tina Louise, Russell Johnson and Dawn Wells. It's a joy to be stranded with them time and again - here on Gilligan's Isle.

When I rented this, it was an attempt to relive my childhood memories, I have not seen this series in some time, and expected to look at it with older eyes and think, what did I find so funny, well, even with older eyes, this show is still just as funny, I found myself laughing out loud at many of the episodes, and the best part, you can watch them with the entire family, they just do not make series like this anymoreOne of the best TV shows ever watched after school! - Madamx28
This series is great! It was gret when I was a kid watching it after school and it's still great now watching after work as an adult. Now that I'm older I'm picking up on some of the more sophisticated bits of humour that eluded me as a kid, at times it's like watching it for the first time.
Always enjoyable, always funny and always in our hearts, these characters will never let us down when it comes to great entertainment.
Highly recommend!!B&W, not colour - Dandy_Andy
Doesn't bother me, but in case you care the first sesaon hasn't been Ted Turnered.
Of course it was filmed in B&W, but it has been colourized for VHS and I had assumed this would be the same. Again, I don't really care one way or the other buyt I think it's a little misleading to put a colour picture on the cover.
