Homicide: Life On The Street: Season 3
"Barry Levinson's ground-breaking TV series is one of the few must-haves in the current onslaught of TV show boxed sets."-The San Francisco Examiner
Now, for the first time, watch the episodes in the order intended by the series' producers.
Return to Baltimore's mean streets for the third season of a modern TV classic.
Executive Produced by Barry Levinson (Diner, Tin Men) and Tom Fontana (St. Elsewhere, Oz), and created by Paul Attanasio (Gideon's Crossing, Quiz Show), Homicide: Life On the Street defied the conventions of television police shows with its emphasis on the day-to-day grind of solving cases, instead of sensationalized violence and overwrought melodrama. Powered by deft writing and an extraordinary ensemble cast highlighted by Yaphet Kotto (Alien), Ned Beatty (Deliverance), and Emmy-winner Andre Braugher (Frequency), Homicide consistently delivered what The Wall Street Journal called "simply the best one hour of television."

Following in the steps of the first 2 Homicide - Life on the Street seasons. Fine script writing and character development for an often overlooked but amazing, gritty TV Series of the 1990's. The cast includes the legendary Ned Beatty and the "where is he now" Daniel Baldwin. Baldwin's portrayal of "Beau" is one of the best on the early part of the series. The be all of end all Cop Shows - Komodogirl
The writing, the feel, the acting, this show has it all. Shows both sides of the police force, doesn't glorify or denigrate. We seem them as ordinary people doing an extraordinary job, foibles and all.
Andre Braugher is magnificent, but the entire ensemble is really it's strength. Innovative camera work and realistic writing (not every case gets solved, not everything has a happy ending) make this one of the best crime shows ever made.
