Secret Agent (a.k.a. Danger Man): Set 5
Before he had a number, he had a name. Before he was The Prisoner, he was John Drake, Secret Agent.
Patrick McGoohan's first TV series defied all the conventions of small-screen spydom-the hero never ends up in bed with the woman, rarely draws his gun, and refuses to budge on his principles, even when that means defying his superiors. The results made Secret Agent a sensation and catapulted McGoohan to stardom.
Drake is back on the case in this exclusive DVD set from A&E Home Video featuring 8 classic Secret Agent shows from 1966. Each episode has been digitally restored and remastered and is presented in its original U.S. broadcast order.
Episodes:
The Outcast
Judgment Day
To Our Best Friend
Say It With Flowers
The Man On The Beach
The Man Who Wouldn't Tale
Someone Is Liable To Get Hurt
Dangerous Secret

Although the plots are a little predictable, I like this series for its kitchiness, and its 60's chic. I find it more interesting than The Prisoner, that came afterwards. Patrick McGoohan is great in the title role, especially the odd time when he has to be an American. Hilarious!
