The 6th Day
A 2-Disc Set!
Superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger is Adam, an ace pilot in the very near future who is having a serious identity crisis. An evil corporation illegally cloned him, and now they're trying to kill him to hide the evidence. Torn from his beloved family and faced with a shocking exact duplicate of himself, Adam races against time to reclaim his life and save the world from the underground cloning movement.
From the director of Tomorrow Never Dies, The 6th Day also stars powerhouse actors Robert Duvall (Gone In 60 Seconds, Deep Impact) and Michael Rapaport (Deep Blue Sea, Cop Land). Prepare for a high tech sci-fi blast with twice the Arnold and twice the action!

I have seen this one a few times before as Arnold movies always end up on television. Like other reviewers, I always have a hard time with him being a nice, normal guy but there is enough action in this one to make us forget his rather boring character. The storyline is quite good and is fairly well developed. I think it's a bit far-fetched to claim that it is a debate on cloning as it is really made as a sci-fi movie with tons of gadgets. The supporting cast is quite good doing a fine acting job with a good enough dialogue and interesting although slightly over the top characters. The sets and locations are great, the soundtrack is good and the camera work is appropriate. There is a lot of special effects scenes here and they are very well done. Although this is certainly not the best Arnold movie, he is always entertaining in such a sci-fi action environment.Pretty good sci fi flick - NearNorth
Great suspense, lots of action, a few twists and turns, an interesting ending. This movie is pretty good entertainment. Also a timely piece with all the pros and cons of genetic engineering flying about these days. And where does God fit into creation, anyway?Another Serious Project For Arnold - kav2001c
This movie overall is great (though it does start to fall apart before the finale)
Filmed in beautiful British Colombia
Features Arnold as a dad who is kinda worried about the ramifications of cloning
He really doesnt want to revive the family dog, as he suspects the dog wouldnt be "normal"
Until one day on his way home, people start trying to kill him (claiming he isnt a real human)
Arnold knows something weird is up, and he needs to confront the cloning company to prove he is a human before he gets himself killed
Plenty of action, beautiful shots (both natural and the sets), and Arnold again plays his role well (he is so underrated as an actor)
Well worth a watch (& rewatch once you realize *why* everything happens)
