Hmmm....
Without a doubt this is probably the best film adaptation of the DH Lawrence novel. Sean Bean and Joely Richardson (both young actors at the time) gave passionate, strong performances.
The nudity and sex depicted in this film are true to the novel and I found them necessary to the story telling.
