Nip/Tuck: Season 1
Beauty, the saying goes, is only skin deep. The beauty of Nip/Tuck is that it goes deeper, laying bear the complexities and fragile natures often found in patients seeking cosmetic surgery. Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon portray hotshot Miami South Beach plastic surgeons who are themselves in full-blown midlife crises as they confront career, family and romance problems. The series' cutting-edge stories range from funny to suspenseful to uncommonly powerful. The surgeries are graphically bold. The sexuality is rampant. Presented here in 13 first-season episodes on 5 discs and featuring compelling extras, the highly praised Nip/Tuck is a prescription for entertainment unlike anything you've ever seen.

Nip/tuck is Orginal, unusual and reminds me of Scarface meets private practice (without holdbacks).
Remember the old Lay's Chip commerical that had the famous fraze "bet you just can't have one?"
That saying Applies here: the show is highly skillful and very addictive. I'm amased that i didn't get into this show sooner?! I'm glad i gave nip/tuck a chance. The bromance between Dylan Walsh (sean) and Julian McMahon (Cristian) brings the show depth an keeps you intuned with there unconventional longterm relationship. My favorite TV Show - Ronni
This is now my favorite TV show. They show the "patient of the week" and how his/her operation is certainly more than skin deep. On the other side, we see the lives of the two doctors. How they compliment each other and need each each other. In the middle is Julia, Sean's wife.
The best part is the twists and turns this series takes. They speed you down one path but at the last minute, you're veering off to the side. Watch the first episode and you'll be hooked.FANTASTIC! - D3--
This first season is amazing!! so many different stories that you can relate to. skin deep! Love it.. cant wait to see season 2! it does show a bit of the operating room. However, its not that bad compared to your discovery channel. The only way i can watch those parts is to remember its all fake, its all fake! hahah or sometimes ill just blur my eyes! haha Thanks
