Dick Van Dyke must be one of the most genious comedic performers ever! The way he uses his body is as funny as how he delivers his lines. This s a smartly written and funny sitcom. Mary Tyler Moore is great as his young and endearing wife. Definitely worth checking out for funny blast from the past.No one has ever done it better. - Radio_Jane
Dick Van Dyke has what every television leading man today is lacking. He is suave, sophisticated, light on is feet (on rare occasions) and in a good clean witty way, goofy as anything. As television gag writer Rob Petrie, Van Dyke turns in a wonderful performance along with costars Morey Amsterdam, Rosemarie (who fans of old time radio will remember as Baby Rosemarie the singer) and of Course, Mary Tyler Moore. Carl Reiner originally created the role for himself, but the viewer is lucky that it was given to VAn dyke. this show stands the test of time as one of the best, and I sure it always will
