Soap: Season 2
More comedy from TV's most dysfunctional family! Two sisters, Jessica Tate and Mary Campbell, and their families have all sorts of problems including sarcastic butlers, a war hero who's still living in 1940s wartime, and Mary's second husband, who once thought he could make himself invisible and was abducted by aliens.

SOAP - season 2 - Gimau7
Just reviewed season 1 and I have to keep going on with season 2. If I do remember well, it was one of the first, if not the first sit-com to bring homosexuality in public. Nothing disgraceful but very funny the way they approached the subject. In those year people were prude and this subject was taboo. Here it was done with class, grace and hilarious. Who cannot laugh at Jessica's way to held a conversation with Chester? Who cannot laugh at the appropriate comments of Benson? I wish I could have had a buttler/cook like him... 'Chapeau' Robert Guillaume; you are the best of them all and they are ALL very good. Just can't wait for the other last two seasons to come... As soon as I start one disc, I have to go to the end even if it is past midnight. Please give me more...Politically incorrect at its best! - Cricri7
Most of the people who rent Soap this time around is because they have seen it a first time when it first aired. It is a shame because lots of people don't know the existence of this sitcom which was so politically incorrect and drop down funny. It is comprised of excellent and funny actors...just to name a few...Robert Guillaume as the butler..Katherin Helmond as Jessica Tate..Billy Crystal as the first gay guy on TV. They get the best lines that are still funny today!Soap: Season 2 - lulu1
Our kids loved this show so much, we bought the DVDs! (how's that for a review? heh heh)
Not quite as funny as I remembered them, but still vastly entertaining, and the characters are excellent.
The only disappoint is Billy Crystal. He wasn't funny back then!?!?
