predictable middle class american superficiality - hipoldlady
I watched the beginning of the first season and after an hour I had enough! Bad cinema, predictable plots, it really had no guts. Are these real people! The high school scenes were painful to watch. The recently widowed father meeting the cute woman next door by accident was similarly difficult to stomach. Throw this in the trash bin!Everwood-Season 1 - nasteroo
This was a great reason for our whole family to sit down together. It brought up many topics for discussion. We especially enjoyed "Harold" and the depth of his character.
Abortion, homosexuality, pre-marital sex, when and how to use a condom etc. etc. were just some of the topics we ended up discussing with our kids. We found the series gripping from beginning to end. Now we just WISH that we could get hold of season 2. What will happen? We are on the edge of our seats. Will Zip.ca be carrying it in the near future? I never turn heads or get stopped in my tracks with new shows that come out, but something about the dynamic and drama in the previews had me hooked. Everwood is a show that emotionally provkes you 1 minute crying the next your hypnotised by it's close to perfect script. so much in 1 hour takes place and leaves you wanting more, Questions come up like: why move to Everwood? will ephram and his father ever reconisle there differences? Can doctor Brown hold a small clinic and run a family solo? This show proved it's staying power and effortlessly played a great part as the "quaint smalltown drama".
