I love this movie!! One of my all-time favourite childhood classics. The story line is fun, the songs are catchy and the dancing entertaining. The baron and baroness are soooo funny! I love their song that they sing together. Truly is sickeningly sweet, but would make a great step-mother!! Definately a good movie for kids to watch!Doesn't work as a musical - Fudgeflaps
Some movies do, this one doesn't. I was especially disappointed in this because it's from the UK. They usually make captivating movies, but this one was just a dull, incoherent hodgepodge of scenes.
And who's idea was it to make this a musical?
I often enjoy musicals, but this movie doesn't work as a musical.
This could have been so much better, and the only reason I didn't give it one star is because it's a British movie.
Children might like it though.
