CSI: Miami - Season 2
Horatio Caine, a former homicide detective, heads a group of investigators who work crimes amid the steamy, tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. His team includes Calliegh Duquesne, a bilingual Southern beauty with a specialty in ballistics; Tim Speedle, a cocky yet disarming investigator who is well-connected on the street; and Eric Delko, an underwater recovery expert who knows all the twists and turns of the Florida waterways. Rounding out the team is Alexx Woods, the no-nonsense, know-it-all coroner. Together, these investigators collect and analyze the evidence to solve the crimes and to vindicate those who often cannot speak for themselves - the victims.

Horatio - you gotta love him. David Caruso nails this uptight character who is absolutely driven by the ethics code book and wraps him up with all kinds of wonderful ticks and mannerisms. And Calliegh Duquesne - she could make a good dog break his chain. But not only is she beautiful, but also smart and a great side kick for Horatio. And the drama .... just such a fun fun series.Great Show! - Lady_Olwen
CSI: Miami is without a doubt one of the best shows on T.V. today. Very different from its spinoff series CSI (Vegas). A great ensemble cast with interesting, engaging and fast paced storylines. CSI: Miami is without a doubt my favourite in the CSI franchise. This one is definitely worth a look!CSI: Miami - Season Two - Maestro
CSI: Miami is an exciting show. The writers always try to keep one step ahead of the viewer. David Caruso (playing Horatio Caine) is a strong actor who commands the room in every scene while maintaining a subtle humanity that can pull the heart strings at many moments.
The entire cast is likeable and interacts together as if family. The feel of CSI:Miami is entirely different than the original CSI that takes place in Las Vegas.
Season two has a lot of plot diversity over season one (which has too many plots involving dead children). This season is all about the bigger picture and features plots regarding hurricanes, forest fires and airplane crashes.
FYI, disc 7 (bonus features) is not very good (0 stars in our book). Although, I can see why it was included in the set - it doesn't feel like a worthwhile rental.
