What a great series and this is the best season to watch. Mikhail Baryshnikov is fantastic. His character brings a great perspective (non-US) flavour to the show. Very sad to see the end of the series, but I think it ends on a high note. Time to watch the SITC movies!The end.....sadly! - Cricri7
I have not enjoyed nothing on television more than this series. I watch it over and over again and never tire of it. There has never been a series that talked so much to women on television. Every woman can relate to something in those women.
In the bonus material in part 2 of season 6, there is a discussion panel with the writers of the series and it is worth watching it. They are all amazing and funny women that Michael Patrick King surrounded himself with. When some series end, you end up saying that it was for the best but this is not the case here. The movie paled in comparison to the series.Fantastic season - Vickie
The 6th and final season of Sex and the City showed a lot of growth for the girls. They all had great storylines that showed their development as characters. There was an excitement in the air leading up to the finale. For once, the ending of a series wasn't anticlimactic. It was every bit as good as expected to be. The 3rd disc is worth renting because it has 2 featurettes that show almost every character ever on the show giving commentary about it and there is another section where the writers say where the show is coming from. Definitely a show worth watching over and over again.
