Crime Story: Season 1
Following the phenomenal success of Miami Vice, Executive Producer Michael Mann returned to television with a new kind of gritty crime drama, one that talked tougher and hit harder than anythign the small screen had ever seen before. For two explosive seasons, Crime Story told the hard-boiled saga of hair-trigger cop Lieutenant Mike Torello (Dennis Farina) and his obsessive pursuit of ruthless gangaster Ray Luca (Anthony Denison) from the mean streets of early '60s Chicago to the neon nights of mob-run Las Vegas.
Today, Crime Story is considered a true cult classic as well as one of the most startling series in television history.

This series has aged well. It is from the late eighties and set in the (early?) sixties in Chicago. I liked the accents and the stories are good. It is a very artistically filmed series, good writing and a good format. Seems closer to a movie or an HBO kind of thing than a TV series. Definitely worth zipping.Crime Story - PrimoRepoMan
Crime Story has a great pilot episode and what seems will be the start of a good show from an 80's t.v. series. You will allways get good entertainment from Michael Mann. It is a shame that David Caruso did such good work on this show only to be on a horrible show like CSI Miami.Did not age well - Cricri7
I zipped Crime story because I am a fan of Dennis Farina but even him did not save this series in my eyes. Crime story tells the story of cops in Chicago. I thought that I would enjoy seeing Dennis Farina and other guest stars, but I did not even get passed the pilot episode.
