Gilmore Girls: Season 2
The acclaimed Gilmore Girls are back for a second season of warmth, charm, zingy repartee and heart-stopping moments of drama. Included here are all 22 irresistible episodes from the second season, based around young single mom Lorelai (Lauren Graham), her super-achieving daughter Rory (Alexis Bledel), her elitist parents Emily (Kelly Bishop) and Richard (Edward Herrmann), and a whole town of dreamers and eccentrics. New faces also come to Stars Hollow, including Luke's nephew Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), whose rebelliousness offends the town, but whose passion for books attracts Rory. Hearts break and mend, careers end and begin, folks stumble and pick themselves up in a series that's been a resounding success, both critically and commercially.

I really liked the first season of this show, but as time went by, it faltered badly. The second season isn't bad, it's just more of the same - nothing added, nothing lost. The smart, *very* fast banter is still front and centre, and Lorelei still has a triangle ton content with and a daughter to raise.Too much Max Medina - XTRUClerk
I think I'm going to think of this one as the season of shouting. I've never seen so much constant bickering on any television show. If Rory isn't arguing with her mother she's screaming at her grandmother, if Lorelei isn't yelling at her mother she's yelling at Max... Some episodes seem to be wall to wall arguing. Still Gilmore Girls remains a faily enjoyable show with some episode being very funny. It still tries far too hard to be clever and there's still more dialogue than necessary. And, by the way, why is it that everyone speaks the same? There isn't a single character in the show that isn't good at banter. I don't know what it's like in your life, but I've only know a few people that were clever in my whole life! Star's Hollow must be a magnet for clever people because everyone's witty and well read. I can't say I like Max Medina. I can't imagine someone like Lorelei going for him. Why? Just my personal opinion. Shouldn't bother most viewers but it made this season harder to sit though for me and I was glad to discover that season 3 had much less of him. In fact the box should read Season 3, 99.9 % Medina free. Still a very recommended show. Cheers.what is next - M---
Season 2 is like season 1 only better. It's a great show because it treats the viewer as an intelligent person and requires one to pay attention. There are dozens of subtle jokes and pop references contained in the conversation that issue from the characters' mouths. There is a nice flow from episode to episode each leaving you wanting more.
