Too Close for Comfort: Season 1
Henry Rush (Ted Knight) is a San Francisco cartoonist whose comic-strip creation, "The Cosmic Cow," allows him to work at home and stand watch -- with wife Muriel (Nancy Dussault) -- over his two daughters (Lydia Cornell and Deborah Van Valkenburgh), who have just reached the "va-voom" stage of development. Handily, the girls live directly downstairs in a separate apartment.

How to ruin a great idea. - Pete_Huge
The original idea: Make a funny show about two daughters living below their parents. The family loves each other deeply through their mad-cap adventures.
How to ruin it: Put in lots of sex jokes. Resort to one liners about busts, virginity, and keep storylines about who is sleeping around.
I watched this when I was a kid - and now I wonder "what was Mom and Dad thinking? This show is not for kids!".
By no means is it is bad as what is on the idiot box now but it is still bad. The best jokes, and there are alot, are lost in the filthy trash humour that makes it unenjoyable.Great reruns!! - RubyT
This was one of my favorite shows as a kid! I was about 8 when the series started, so of course I didn't remember much when I ordered the DVD.
The series is hilarious, I love the actors, and I can relate to a lot of the stuff the young girls are going through.
I love Monroe, he's my favorite! I'll be ordering the other discs from this series and I hope they put out more seasons on DVD soon!
This will be a fun series for the kids that weren't born then to watch too...
