Eric Clapton: Crossroads Guitar Festival
Numerous guitar legends gathered together in June of 2004 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, to play a benefit show for Eric Clapton's Crossroads Center, a nonprofit addiction treatment facility in Antigua. Offering a stunning array of legendary acts, the talent assembled for the show was a music lover's dream come true, and this document of the event allows those who weren't there to experience the magic. Including performances by BB King, James Taylor, Carlos Santana, Joe Walsh, Jimmie Vaughn, John Mayer, Robert Cray, and Clapton himself, among many others.

a must see for all guitar fans clapton is the gold standard and he is surrouded by many legends.if you have blu-ray be sure to order in this format it will enhance the total experience. crank it up and enjoy-you won't be diappointed by this dvd its one many should consider purchasing-it's just that good. enjoyMust see concert - Coconut_Willy
Content-wise, this is absolutely fabulous. To have live performances from such an assortment of great musicians from different eras playing different styles on 2 discs is great. It is also quite different from similar festival compilations as it does not necessarily stick to the chronological order of appearance; throughout the DVD's, you get parts of Clapton's show. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars to this item is that a few odd acts have been included here for the sake of variety that could have been replaced by better material. I am sure that some people will disagree with me on this but I am convinced that during these 3 days of performances, a lot of great stuff must have been left out in favor of Indian music and a few country boys. Regardless, a high percentage of material is top notch. Picture and sound are excellent. Highly recommended.something for ever guitar lover - Big_Daddy_G
Lots of variety on here so you never get bored with who's up playing guitar. Clapton looks like he is having the time of his life. Definitely a disc for any guitar fan. Bill Preston is also a standout on organ. It's well worth it to rent both discs. Doyal Bramhall II smokes on the slow blues number on Disc 2.
