MacGyver: Season 1
MacGyver, formerly of the Special Forces, is a secret agent who refuses to carry a gun with him, but fortunately never needs one. Drawing on a vast practical knowledge of science, Macgyver is able to make use of anything around him to create solutions to any problem he faces. Underestimating MacGyver is a major mistake made by his enemies and always results in the destruction of their plans.

I grew up on this show but havent seen it since it was originally on air. I rented this hoping it was just as good as I remember and it is but does totally reak of 80`s. At times, the
plots are laughable and how MacGuyver gets out of trouble unrealistic but come on this is MacGuyver, he could part seas if he wanted too. Good for a watch or nostalgia but not for everyone.Everyone should watch this show - cynthiag
As unbelievable as it seems, I actually remembered stuff from the shows in this set. This was one of my favourite shows when it aired and I was thrilled when I found out it was coming to DVD (and Season 2 is out now too!). Mac is just a regular guy, who knows a lot of stuff - and it's his brain (not his brawn or a gun - he won't touch a gun) that gets him out of trouble and crazy situations every week. Always a good thing to aspire to. Excellent show.Amazing - Vickie
MacGyver is a great show. It is so full of action. The characters are always new and interesting. You get to see a different part of the world with every episode. I'm always amazed at the knowledge that MacGyver has, the ability to get out of jam after jam. And he always seems so cheerful, even in dire circumstances. Definitely worth watching - even educational.
