Using the very loose and ridiculous premise that they are really a secret organization attempting to undermine society (but only to an extent, they like chaos but not too much) the troupe weaves together some really ridiculous sketches sometimes involving scatalogical humour, parodies of various "scenes" of the late 90s and some really crazy stuff in public. Some of the skits don't work that well, or take time, but on the whole this is about as good as it gets for TV sketch comedy from the late 90s. There are some readily memorizable lines and the song in the final episode is way too catchy. Great.Boring.... - NoraCharles
Rented it for Amy Poehler. Love her in SNL and Baby Mama. We were sorely disappointed. It simply is not funny. We only got through the first three episodes. It was just too painful. It is not a sketch comedy show. It is based around 4 characters that are trying to undermine civilization through poop jokes and a nonsensical "truth bucket". The only highlight was Amy Poehler as a little girl (a la Kaitlin from SNL) meeting the "real" unabomber. I would not suggest this dvd for ANYONE, even diehard fans.
