Good Old Teddy - Yogini
Timothy West is superb as the mature Edward, but all of the cast members in all of the episodes are excellent, the historical research is impeccable, and the costuming is absolutely fabulous! I especially appreciated the ballroom scenes, not only for the costuming, but also for the dancing: It is not often that a dramatic film or series also offers admirable choreography. Certainly characters were portrayed at their best, but even so, the insights into Quenn Victoria's character and personality portray her as a very troubled person indeed!Excellent series so far after Disc 2 - MovieLover
The series thus far is excellent.
The acting has been wondeful with a simply superb cast.
Robert Hardy in particular was very good as Albert, conveying the complexity of the man.
Queen Victoria comes across as very peculiar indeed; headstrong and with constant mood changes and wavering. Hot tempered of course.
One wonders how she ruled so long.
Maybe she matured later.
