Relive the sharp and sassy repartee, as Maddie Hayes (Cybill Shepherd), the steely but gorgeous ex-model, and David Addison (Bruce Willis), the wisecracking hustler, bring their madcap capers to DVD for the first time.

It was with some initial trepidation that I reached for this DVD, hoping to stroll down memory lane and recapture that '80's 'feel'. Had I been a hopeless romantic, a naive unsophisticated 20-somthing? The instant that infectious music theme came wafting out however, I realized I was in for a real blast from the past as memories came flooding back. Ms Dipesto's engaging rhyming telephone manner, David's smartmouth and charm, Maddie's drop dead stunning beauty and wardrobe, excellent repartee and direction....what's not to like?? I loved this series 30 some years ago, and ya know what, I love it just as much now. Real old fashioned entertainment, in the true sense of the word.Do bears bear? Do bees Bee? - Radio_Jane
My mother always told me how wonderful this show was so when it came out on dvd I thought I had better try it. I will grudgingly admit that I enjoyed it. Although it is corny in the corniest of ways sometimes, and most days you want to smack Cybill Shepherd (who from what I have read was just as mucha a diva in making the show as in character),Bruce Willis and Alice Beasly make up for most of it. the dialogue is pretty snappy and the episode titled "The dream sequence always rings twice" is beautiful to watch. Also, the actor commentaries are actually worth listening to.
