The Dead Zone: Season 3
Based on the characters and story from the best-selling book by Stephen King, "The Dead Zone" is a unique psychological thriller that combines a rich mix of action, the paranormal and a continuing quest for justice.

is a more appropriate title for season 3 of the Dead Zone.
I agree with the other reviews... this is the darkest season and (we found) the one with the least hope, fun or lightness. This season tackles a lot of issues (gun control/personal rights vs "security" and so on) in Cycle of Violence, innocent people caught up in war/violence (Speak Now)... many episodes are dark, with death (Rachel's murder, other murders), illness (Johnny), hopelessness (the world is going to end thanks to a certain politician according to Johnny's visions), corruption and what seems to be mental illness (Reverend Purdy). We miss the lighter season 1 and 2 episodes, but season 3 is watchable and (if you aren't suffering from the winter blues): enjoyable.Darker than Season 1 or 2 - ScarletAngel
There's a definite shift in tone in this season. The light and fun feel of season 2 is gone and replaced by this dark brooding situation. Still watchable, but don't expect the second season continuation. From what I've seen of Season 4 so far, looks better and brighter than this season ever was.
