Undeclared: The Complete Series
On the heels of the overwhelmingly successful release of Freaks And Geeks on DVD comes the follow-up project from producer Judd Apatow - Undeclared. This very funny series about college life features the same insightful humor and honesty that won fans and captured everyone's imagination in Freaks And Geeks.
Seen on Fox in 2001 and 2002, Undeclared is the story of Steven Karp, a kid who grew seven inches over the summer, changing from scrawny high-school nerd to potentially handsome college student. He and his roommate, friends and fellow freshmen help each other face the freedoms and responsibilities that come along with being away from home for the first time.

Like previous reviewers have said, if you love Freaks and Geeks, you will definitely enjoy this one. It's fun to see a lot of the same actors used, plus there are some great cameos. It is a pity this story ended so soon, just as you were getting to love the likable college crew.
The only downside is that there are some continuity errors and there are a couple of episodes that appear twice. It was kind of weird and we just didn't get it. Maybe if we saw this when it first came out we would understand, but honestly, I think it was just mistakes.I Declare my Love for This Series - Mookie
While Freaks and Geeks (another Apatow TV series that was cancelled too soon) will still hold a special place in my heart this series is also a winner. Ramping up the comedy and taking the series to college means there is a lot of fresh new comedy to mine.
If I had to say why I still like Freaks and Geeks better it is because I don't think all the casting choices were as good in this show. However, there are still plenty of wonderful characters to follow and it is still a series that is far above most of the stuff we see on TV.
I think the series starts off a bit slow but by the second disk it really finds its legs. Rent it and enjoy.Undeclared: The Complete Series - antoinedoinel
Penned with the tagline from the producers of freaks and geeks, Undeclared never ends up being half as honest, nor half as funny as it's predessesor. With that said, Undecalred is loads of fun, and will probably end up right beside freaks and geeks in your dvd collection (unless you have a big one that is).
Those who loved Freaks and Geeks will clap with joy when they see major cast members make memorable cameos. There's also Seth Rogen, who plays a prominent role on Undeclared. Other cameos come from some of the big name players Judd Apatow has worked with before.
For those that have never seen Freaks and Geeks, go rent that first, and then rent undeclared. The two will go well together.
