Star Trek: Enterprise: Season 2
Set in the 22nd century, a hundred years before James T. Kirk helmed the famous starship of the same name, Enterprise takes place in an era when interstellar travel is still in its infancy. Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) has assembled a crew of brave explorers to chart the galaxy on a revolutionary spacecraft: Enterprise NX-01. As the first human beings to venture into deep space, these pioneers will experience the wonder and mystery of the final frontier as they seek out new life and new civilizations.

Best Trek since the original... except for Season 2 - Farside
When Enterprise first launched there were many things about it that I was unsure of, from the opening theme song which pretty much turned every fan off to several of the casting choices (especially Scott Bakula as captain) that I felt were weak at first glance. However by the end of the first season I was a convert, enjoying the show far more than I thought I ever would and looking forward to the second season with great anticipation.
What a letdown, the second season was by far the worst season of Star Trek in years! While there were a few jems such as "Regeneration" and "The Catwalk" there was was to many clunkers that left me feeling disappointed to give this season a passing grade. The worst thing was finding out after the series was over that the decision to end the show after 4 seasons was made during this mess of a season 2 and that it didn't matter how good seasons 3 and 4 were, its fate was sealed.Gotta love the Borg - kappa
I would never have thought that Scott Bakula would make a good Captain. Thumbs up for Scott Bakula, he did an awesome job. The series was cut short. I really enjoyed how the characters develop. From naïve to aggressive. There were some scenes were it showed real life emotions, and not just talking, like in TNGStar Trek: Enterprise: Season 2 - Dina
Now into the swing of things, season 2, follows in the same manner as season 1. I got over the change in feel and sound and enjoyed getting to know the characters better. A lot of really interesting people are living aboard this ship and NOTHING seems to ever go right for them. Accept that (for the main characters) everything is always fixed by the end, which is the way it has to be otherwise we'd have all the cast dying and the show would be over. And, let's face it, we all like happy endings. I'm not fond of the way this season wrapped up, but it does prepare you for what's in store. If you liked the first season, you'll like this one. If you're a Star Trek fan that hasn't watched the first season, this series is a mostly separate creature in general feel, but worth looking at. And if you are not particularly, or at all, a Star Trek fan, then, taken on it's own, I highly recommend this series to most people.
