Make your own damn movie...but give this set a miss - HarryMorant
Before there was the movie there was the book. And to be fair the book was entertaining. If you can get beyond the fact that Troma makes and distributes crap you can appreciate the independant spirit that drives the work (or maybe just no one else will give them a look, and with reason). All of that said, this dvd (first disc anyway) is so very poorly done that it simply cannot be taken seriously. Kaufman (seriously weird guy) seems to think he is making art and that he has something of value to say about filmmaking - given what he actually produces, I cannot agree.The jokes on us. - rain_man
The big lesson from lloyd seems to be: "give people crap and you would be amazed at what they buy" I watched all of disk one just to give it a chance and got almost nothing out of it. I am sure that at the end of disk5 Lloyd points his finger at the viewer and says "see you schmuck, I got you to buy this crap anyone can do it!"Terrible - Matt3
Terrible says it all. I have been involved in small productions for several years. This was so poorly done that it made me not want to pick up my camera. The production quality is worse than i have seen fron high school projects. I could say more but i think this is enough.
