Nick Frost's Danger! 50,000 Volts!
Fresh from his co-starring role in Shaun Of The Dead and his stint in the cult British comedy Spaced, Nick Frost is prepared to show you how to clear a minefield, how to drive in 'hot pursuit' and more. Definitely not for the faint-hearted, Nick Frost's comedy survival series looks at the dangers that could befall us at any time: from how to lasso a reindeer and give birth in a taxi to dressing a wound with maggots and surviving being impaled!

Not great, but many laughs. - SStones
I prefer this over the american shows I've seen in this same vein. Though Nick Frost is much funnier in scripted comedy. I certainly found it funny throughout, laughing more than once in each of the well written scenarios that form the small sections of each episode. It is certainly well written and amusing. Perhaps not really that informative.
BE SURE TO CHECK THE EXTRAS ON DISK 2!
There is a spoof co-starring Simon Pegg in the disk-2 extras called Danger: 50000 zombies.Nick Frost puts the 'H' in Hilarious! - movie_goer
If you've never heard of Nick Frost you're either living under a rock or deprived of excellent entertainment, in fact it's Frost and Simon Pegg who converted me to British Comedy.
Lucky for us the British humor no longer consist of swashbackers who think dry humor is sexy. In Danger 50,000 volts the comedian brings suviving the world to a whole new meaning with 1 in a million ways you could die but most likely it would never happen. Yet it's hilarious outcomes and guest stars end with great results.Lightweight and laughable - in a very good way - Heeds
In a similar vein to the "Worstcase Scenario" handbooks, Danger: 50,000 Volts is a humorous set of t.v. segments which advise on how to survive various dangerous encounters. E.g. bears, falling through thin ice, being trapped in an elevator when the cable has snapped, etc.
Yes, it's lightweight and silly but it's also very funny. The animated sequences scattered throughout each episode are particularly entertaining. And it might just save your life.
