Bob & Rose: The Complete Series
From Russell T. Davies, The Creator Of Queer As Folk
A gay man and a straight woman meet and do the unthinkable - they fall in love. Rose is down to earth, straightforward and funny. Then she meets Bob, a teacher, who's certainly not expecting to meet someone like Rose. In their hearts they know they're doing the right thing, but everyone around them thinks they're crazy. Are they hurtling towards the biggest heartache ever?

Bob and Rose - Jude
This started off rather funny and whimsical in the way British series are, with lots of wonderful supporting characters. However as they series progressed it became quite serious and dramatic, as it followed Bob's change from a homosexual to heterosexual relationship, and it how it effected those around him. The acting is excellent and it is a worth while watch.A very twee love story - meghanrose
Bob & Rose is a twee love story about a straight woman and a man who realises that he's not gay as he thought; rather he's bisexual, must to the shock and consternation of both their friends and family. It's one of those shows that you know from the very beginning how it's going to turn out, but you watch and cheer along anyways because it's just so gosh darn appealing.
Final verdict: A cute diversion for a rainy weekend with a cheery theme song you'll enjoy for days.Enjoyable ....... !! - Muggins
Russell T. Davies scores a hit with this very enjoyable one off British series set in Manchester. All in all, an interesting cast of characters, terrific writing, excellent casting and theme music that I can't get out of my head! Will there be a second series of Bob & Rose - 5 years later????
