Really witty and it seems to be a little out there yet makes sense in a comedic way. Zach Braff is really great in this role of dreamer slash always the nice guy. The cast has great chemistry and makes the punch line come across alot stronger then if they didn't have that chemistry. I throughly enjoy the daydream bits and love the cranky boss and hard nosed tough mentor. Who does have a softer side. Great season and can't wait for more to comeStupendous Stuff - Radio_Jane
A longtime fan of the show, I had sort of a scrubs marathon this weekend, and let me tell ya, even after 3 straight days, this is still grade a quAlity tv. the best part is still Johnny C. he is at once vulnerable, hilarious and dare I say it- Sexy as hell. The comedy this season is sharp, especially because due to the bambino we see more interaction between Cox and Jordan (played perfectly by show creater Bill Lawrence's wife and Drew Carey Show alum Christa Miller.) the ferocious chemistry between these two foul mouthed medicos will knock your socks off, Quality comedy all the way.Twisted Sense of Humor - DMac
Congrats to Bill Lawrence - the creative mind behind Spin City - who created a bunch of flawed and neurotic characters and portray how doctors actually feel rather than the glorified notion of how we think they should be. This second season departs from the sense of overwhelming pressure every doctor faces and deals with the personal lives of the characters and how their jobs and their friends melt in to the monster that is the hospital.
Enjoy the fantasy sequences because it is a true look at inside someone's mind with the random thoughts. The best episode is when they use Perry Cox's inner monologue to guide the show rather than JD's. It would be interesting if they continued to do this periodically because it creates empathy for all the characters and not just how they affect our main character JD.
