Tommy Boy: Holy Schnike Edition
Holy Schnike! - An all-new special edition of the comedy classic!
Party animal Tommy Callahan (Chris Farley) is definitely a few cans short of a six pack. But after seven years, Tommy’s finally earned his diploma – and a cushy job at Callahan Auto Parts. Returning home, Tommy gets some more great news: his dad (Brian Dennehy) is marrying a real “10” (Bo Derek), and Tommy will get the stepbrother (Rob Lowe) he always wanted. Awesome!
But as fast as you can say “Who killed the keg?,” the family business starts tanking. Now Tommy’s got to hit the road with his dad’s right-hand man, a smug numbers-cruncher (David Spade). And what these two don’t know about salesmanship could fill a book – and a riotously funny movie! Saturday Night Live stars Farley and Spade “take off like rockets” (Kevin Thomas, Los Angeles Times) in a road comedy where every turn leads to laughter. Ask for it by name: Tommy Boy.

I had to unzip this movie after having a "fat guy in a little coat" moment. Still as funny as I remember. Chris Farley's physical comedy is in a league of it's own. David Spade is dry and ok, but Farley carries the entire movie. Plot is silly, Rob Lowe is probably regretting playing the creepy dude cause that kinda stuck. BUT, Chris Farley is fricking hilarious. His swing from psycho rage freak to cute childish innoscence brings tears. Love this movie.Funny Movie - sampid
This movie has everything! It has a good storyline, good acting, great scenery, adventure and some brilliant gags! Chris Farley plays Tommy Callaghanhe mega successful company 'Callaghan Auto Parts' has to go on the road to stop the company going under after Big Tom dies. The trouble is that Tommy knows nothing about break pads and needs the help of Callaghan Auto Parts worker Richard (David Spade). From the moment the two dorks hit the road, the movie is just so much fun. If you love slapstick with a great storyline you'll love this because the gags keep coming thick and fast and the movie will just make you laugh out loud! It was so sad about Farley's untimely death in 1997, but a credit to his genius is 'Tommy Boy'. Get it, chill out and enjoy this brilliant slapstick!A blast. - moviegenius
This movie is so funny! Really, it is! Chris Farley was some sort of comic genius. Now, Gene Siskel, I know you think that Chris Farley is just some unfunny guy who rolls around on the ground screaming and that he has no comic talent, but hey, cut him some slack! That's what he does best! I also think that David Spade was very funny as Chris Farley's sidekick. If you love wacky comedies, this is definitely the movie for you to see.
