It was ok -- I love 40 days of Night, and it's sequel, both fantatic horror films in the vampire genre.
This series was interesting and well done but I did not find it very scary. Some movies, on the other hand, scare the crap out of you and put you in a weird mood for a while. Vampire movies are the best.ds 91 - dsfan
this was 1 heck of a show, too bad nbc killed it so early on. this could have found a bigger audience if it wasn't cancelled.if it wasn't for the gulf war coverage and moving the show all over the place naking if difficult for people to find. based of the amount of people that watched the 1st show (before the war started)this show could have been very successful. thinking of what could hav been makes me sad.Still oh so good! - mercy123
Yes it's cheesy. But that's kind of the point. The series is a take off of all the old fantastic cheesy as hell vampire movies we grew up with and loved so much as kids. No moral BS, just a good old hungry vamp trying to get his blood on in and amongst a family and estate dripping with history.
Raise your cup to the art of the storytelling and keep a good hunk of stinky cheese close by!
