Everybody Loves Raymond: Season 4
The laughs continue unabated in this fourth season of the hit (and consistently top-ranked) sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. Standup comedian Ray Romano stars as Ray Barone, a successful sportswriter who deals with his brother and parents, who happen to live across the street. Patricia Heaton (The Goodbye Girl), Peter Boyle (While You Were Sleeping), Doris Roberts (Remington Steele), and Brad Garrett (Gleason) round out the stellar cast.

Wedding Video Episode - Dakos
I had no idea that the wedding video episode was created so late into the show. Theer a references to the episode that last I believe until the end of the show's run. It is incredible that the show has lasted so long but I think it is so appealing because the characters are so believable and everybody can relate to the experiences the Barones face. This show will go down as one of the all time greatest along with All in the Family.Mastering the classic Sitcom formula - Ozone
Just when you thought the classic Situation Comedy formula had been done to death, leave it to Ray Romano and the rest of the ELR team to take the form to a new level. Season 4 is one of the best, with all characters performing in peak form and some of the best writing of the entire series. If you're thinking about taking the ELR plunge, this is the season that will best give you an idea of how funny this show can be as the characters and writing have finally developed enough to hit their stride before growing stale, as sitcoms often do in the later seasons.I Really Love Raymond - carms
I have been a fan of the show since its beginning, and I find the characters funny---I especially love Marie, Raymond's Mom. In a way she is like everyone's Mom and the nosy neighbor rolled into one. You'd wanto to set a rat trap on her but because she can cook real well, it almost makes up for her pesky presence. And, like Mom, she DOES mean well. Sje just mucks up most of the time.
I highly recommending watching the entire collection ... not because I am a huge fan, but because a show doesnt stay on for 10 years and not have any merit on the storylines. The actors are all good... the writing is superb, and...well, because if you cant love your family enough to wanna live and laugh with them for 10 years without wanting to be locked in a psych ward (trust me---i moved out of mine when i was 37 --- isnt THAT pathetic?), you might as well laugh yourself silly at someone else's family.
