The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers - Extended Edition
A 4-Disc Collection...
Frodo Baggins and The Fellowship continue their quest to destroy The One Ring and stand against the evil of the dark lord Sauron.
The Fellowship has divided and now find themselves taking different paths to defeating Sauron and his allies. Their destinies now lie at two towers - Orthanc Tower in Isengard, where the corrupted wizard Saruman waits and Sauron's fortress at Baraddur, deep within the dark lands of Mordor.

This was another great movie in the trilogy! The fighting was incredible and I loved being introduced to the Rohirrim! One of my favourite parts in all of the movies is when Gandalf, leading the Rohirrim charges into battle at the Battle of Minus Tirith and when the armies meet there is a flash of light! My personal favourite - eli_quincy
As far as the wonderful "Lord of the Rings" trilogy goes, The Two Towers is my personal favourite. It's action-packed, pulse-pounding stuff that never lets up on the intensity. I warned in my review of the first film that the extended edition might move too slowly for younger or impatient viewers, but if that's the case, "The Two Towers" is a robust, fast-paced tonic for that boredom. Picking up where the first film (The Fellowship of the Ring) ended, Peter Jackson's second installment in the Lord of the Rings ("LOTR") franchise stands proudly next to its predessor.
The Two Towers contines with the adventures of Frodo the Hobbit and his friends in their quest to destroy the one ring of power - but now the fellowship has been broken up. Accompanied by the creature Gollum,(Andy Serkis)who had the ring for many years, Frodo and his best friend, Sam, continue on to to Mordor. Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Legolas the Elf (Orlando Bloom) and Gimli the Dwarf (John Rhys Davis) pursue a band of Orcs that have carried off Merry and Pippin. None of them ever expect to see each other again.
Once again, Jackson's screenplay stays faithful to the book (though purists will protest that the Elves did *not* come to fight in the Battle of Helms' Deep). The special effects are amazing and this extended version is definitely worth the investment if you are a fan of the films.
