Concept: Interesting. Execution: Downright Awful. - Cottser
I really wanted to like this, but the truth is, this is one of the worst things I've seen committed to tape.
Let me count the ways: the poorly written and at times painfully corny dialogue, the embarrassingly bad acting, some of the worst fight scenes I have ever seen. The whole thing just makes me shake my head. It's just all so lazy.
Please, I beg you, skip this one. It's often compared to Twin Peaks, a series that's MUCH more worthy of your time. I wish I could un-watch this.Weird... but empty - Magdalene
I remembered watching this show when it originally aired and thinking that I must have missed some episodes because it made so little sense. It turns out that even watching all the episodes on DVD doesn't change that experience.
The plot centers around a religious nut who wants to gain immortality through virtual reality. There are a lot of plot twists and a lot of layers to the story... so it should be good, but it isn't. The dialogue is awful and the acting is incredibly bad from Robert Logia and Angie Dickinson, and only barely passable from every other familiar face in the cast. And the worst, crime? There really is no point to the plot.
Very disappointing.
