Mission Hill: The Complete Series
From Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein, former Executive Producers and Head Writers of The Simpsons. It's just around the corner and close to home - a funky, colorful neighborhood where a college degree can bring you an exciting career in retail sales. Welcome to Mission Hill. Meet overqualified, underemployed, 24-year-old Andy French. Ambition: to be a cartoonist. Occupation: salesman at Waterbed World. Hobby: Where's the party? But responsibility soon knocks on the door of the loft apartment Andy shares with two fellow slackers: Kevin, a nerdy 17-year-old who wears his SAT score on his shirt and his admiration for big brother Andy on his sleeve, moves in. And for good measure, so does the French family's dog. Friends, roomies, canines, countrymen: lend me your beers. They're all part of the daze of Andy's life.

This show will always be coupled for me with the oblongs which is another amazing series. I would say that the oblongs had stronger episodes, however mission hill is still awesome to watch. it's funny and fantastic. i think i get a lot more out of it now in my late twenties than i did when i originally saw it. lots of laughs though, if you haven't seen it you need to.Good but Doesn't Find Its Voice - Mookie
This was an okay animated comedy but I felt it never found its comedic voice that would allow it to become laugh out loud humour. Instead it remained at a mildly amusing level for me. Based on some of the ratings here and other reviews and the fact some of the creators of Avatar the Last Airbender (which has great humour in it)were involved I decided to ZIP this little known series. I wouldn't recommend it to others for its humour since I never found myself laughing out loud (Zim and Venture Bros are more more style). I think the problem was that it pushed some boundries but the humour never was absurd enough for my tastes. Also, the main characters never really found their comedic voice.
In the end, a worthy try but not a classic.A Must See! - edm5238
I started watching this show on Teletoon years and years back. As you can see, there are only 2 discs to complete the series. It's really sad that this show did not continue on to more episodes. Even though there were a short number of episodes I would watch the same ones over and over on TV. It's just such a funny show geared towards a higher age group that typical cartoons. I have been waiting years for this to finally come to DVD. Check it out!
