Murder One: Season 2
The Emmy® Award-Winning Show from the Creator of Hill Street Blues , L.A. Law and NYPD Blue.
When Deputy District Attorney Jimmy Wyler accepts a job at Hoffman & Associates law firm, he finds himself handling sensational high-profile cases straight off the evening news. First, he defends a woman arrested for murdering the governor of California. Next, he takes the defense for an NBA basketball superstar arrested for the murder of a flamboyant team owner. Lastly, Wyler handles the case of a man whose victims were all deadly ex-cons. Although the cases are vastly different, they all share one ironic twist - the defendants all admit they're guilty.
Return to the courtroom for a second riveting season as Murder One follows three different murder trials from the point of view of the defense attorney. These multi-layered plots, full of intrigue, betrayal and murder, will keep you guessing until the juries hand in their final verdicts.

Not as good as season 1 - Hize
Stumbled onto season 1 and loved it but season 2 is not near the same. Better story line in season 1. Loved Hoffman in the first season as the lead. Still one of the better legal dramas but don't expect greater things from season 1. Season 2 has several story lines going whereas really only the one in the first season. Glad I watched it and would reccomend it.big change: Hoffman is replaced... - cowboy
In an effort to save his marriage and reestablish his relationship with his family, Ted Hoffman has left the firm and is traveling in Europe with Annie and Lizzie. As a result, Lisa and Lila have also left the firm. Chris represents Greg Ladich, a police officer accused of brutality during a routine car-stop. During cross-examination, the prosecutor, Jimmy Wyler, manages to bait Ladich so successfully that Ladich sucker-punches him in the nose. Wyler rests his case; after forty minutes of deliberation, the jury hands him a guilty verdict. On his way out of the courtroom, Jimmy receives the disturbing news that Roger Garfield has given Jimmy's promotion to another attorney. Jimmy confronts Garfield, who admits that he gave the promotion away in retaliation for Jimmy's cutting him out of a press conference after Jimmy had won a big case. Certain that Garfield's bid for governor will be unsuccessful, and unwilling to work for him any longer, Jimmy resigns. When Jimmy finds out that the governor of California, Tom Van Allan, and his current mistress have been murdered and that Van Allan's former mistress, Sharon Rooney, has been arrested for the crime, he visits Sharon in jail and convinces her to let him represent her instead of someone from the Public Defender's Office. At the arraignment, Jimmy enters a not guilty plea for Sharon and requests bail, which is denied. At the conclusion of the hearing, Aaron Mosely, the PD originally assigned to Sharon's case, angrily confronts Jimmy about taking away the case which could have made his career. Jimmy offers Aaron a position on the team, which Aaron accepts the next day.Decent show but Pales in comparison with Season 1 - Meadows
Season 2 of Murder One lacks the intensity, great acting and story line of Season 1. This is still a very good show but don't expect the same caliber as the first season. Still a decent Legal drama with good acting and good storylines. Pick this up if you enjoyed the first season and wish to see the final season before cancellation.
