Sleeper Cell: Season 1
Friends. Neighbors. Husbands. Terrorists.
Sleeper Cell takes viewers behind the veil of an U.S. hog-grown terrorist group, tracking the harrowing challenges faced by an FBI agent determined to learn its secrets. Having posed as a prisoner inside a federal penitentiary, a young agent (Michael Ealy) develops contacts that enable him to infiltrate an Islamic terrorist cell in Los Angeles. The cell is led by an intimidating, charismatic extremist (Oded Fehr), who considers all acts of violence moral when serving the greater good of his cause. But early in the investigation something goes wrong, placing lives - and the integrity of a three-year mission - in serious jeopardy.

This TV series is real realistic. There's a lot of tension, drama and action. But most of all, the story could be true. It's the story of the new kind of terrorists. The in-born terroirist. I think you gotta see this to get your eyes open on the new world and the new america. The actors are very good and credible.Look Around You - MexiCanuck
Just look around. You will see the characters in this series on every street. That is what makes this series so powerful. The characters are all presented as anyone you might work with, play ball with, or otherwise know.
Yet they are terrifying.
From the first episode, the series is filled with plot twists. Twists that sometimes make no sense when you first encounter them, but quickly make complete sense and seem almost inevitable in retrospect.
This is not some anti-Islam propaganda. It is much more sophisticated, providing observations about a variety of perspectives.
This series had me rivetted to my screen. I can't imagine that the second season could possibly meet the standard of the first season, but I look forward to seeing whether it does.
