Robot Chicken: Season 1
Old-school stop-motion animation and fast-paced satire are the hallmarks of this eclectic show created by Seth Green and Matt Senreich. Action figures find new life as players in frenetic sketch-comedy vignettes that skewer TV, movies, music and celebrity. It's television especially formulated for the Attention Deficit Disorder generation.

This is a funny and very unique show. Sketches are varying lengths - from a few seconds to a few minutes. The only way this works well is if the writing and execution is clear, clever and quick - and it's all three. Definitely worth checking out, but it's not for kids.If you like Family Guy and South Park... - cathyottawa
...this show is for you.
This is sketch comedy, kind of like Saturday Night Live, only using barbie dolls and action figures in stop motion animation.
And it's freakin' hilarious. Co created by Seth Green, who voices Chris on The Family Guy, and is probably best remembered as Austin Power's son Scott, this show pokes fun and everyone and everything, in true South Park style.

It's an absolute shame not many people know about this series. I heard about it by fluke on some website, and when I saw it available here I had to give it a shot. So listen, SEE THIS SHOW!
I guarantee it's worth it if you have any sense of whats funny. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers getting into a dance off and ultimately "gettin' served". Noah intentionally forgetting to invite unicorns/cyclops/dragons/minotaurs to the ark because "god hates freaks". Cannonball run redone with Mario, Luigi, Hasselhoff, Speedracer, Batman and Robin, with death being the result (when Mario kills the first place racer with a blue turtle shell as Wario explains how the turtle shell works, you know you're watching some pop culture genius at work!)
It's one of those shows where if you try to explain it, you just end up sounding crazy. It's a you have to see it type thing, so take my word and just see it. Similar to Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Brak, and all those adult swim type shows from Cartoon Network, it can't be explained but it's damn funny.
Seth Green is the mastermind behind this, and the extra features have some good Seth moments IE: re-enacting a wrestling match between Gandhi and Ben Franklin.
