The Dead Zone: Season 4
After a near-fatal car wreck, Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall, in a role played by Christopher Walken in David Cronenberg's 1983 adaptation) is left in a coma for six years. When he awakens, he discovers that he has developed amazing psychic powers, allowing him to see into the life of anyone he happens to touch. Stephen King's thrilling novel comes to life once again in this series created for television. This collection includes the entire fourth season.

Although Dead Zone has lost much of its grandeur by now (It's been declining steadily since season 2, a marvelous season of TV) season 4 is a solid collection of TV episodes. Season 3 was also good but a little disjointed, I got the feeling that the creators didn't know exactly what to do next, with ther bigger themes of the story as well as the smaller ones. Season 4 seems to fix some of that, with Johnny Smith tossing away his came (an ever growing concern in season 3) abandoning his limp, setting asside his health concerns and resuming his role as a very powerful psychic. As a result the series is not nearly as challenging or interesting as it was, but atleast it's consistent and solid. Now awaiting season 5. Cheers
