Commander in Chief, Vol 2. - Kobzar
This is an extraordinarily good TV series. I don't watch TV, but I am sure glad I learned of this show and gave it a try. Intelligent writing, great directing, superb acting, contemporary issues. I did not think that American TV was capable of this level of quality programming. Geena Davis is a wonderful choice to play the first female President of the U.S., and she cuts quite a figure. This program is both educational, entertaining and inspirational. It shows us what could be if we had leaders of integrity and vision who were above cheap politicking, and an educated, informed electorate to put them in office. The issues dealt with are extremely important and relevant. I urge every American to watch this series and learn. This is how our country could be, how it should be.Great series - nat71
I think this show is very good and I'm so disappointed that it was cancelled. Perhaps the American public just wasn't ready for it yet...
I think the writing and acting is excellent and the plots have been very good at showing how politics works in Washington. Donald Sutherland is excellent as the Speaker and a joy to watch in every episode. Finally found its voice. - Ameoba
Improved writing with a sharper edge makes the second season a welcome change from the first one. It was sad to see the show get cancelled just when it found its voice. Donald Sutherland deserves an Emmy Award for his role as the Speaker of the House, who attempted to undermine the president at every step.
