Great, but the half-season thing sucks - eli_quincy
Battlestar Galactica really started to grab me in its sensational second season and it never let go, as the war between humans and cylons intensifies beyond belief. I do have a gripe with the cash-grab half-season set releases. Really, why bother releasing half a season at full retail price? But since you're renting from Zip, put this in your queue and enjoy. The plot thickens - Morpheus
With the cylons continuiing their attack on the human survivors, the plot continues to tighten, developing further nuances in the relationship between Adama and the President, as well as Lee and Starbuck. Now that the inital shock and adrenaline have worn off, the remainder of the fleet must decide how they will live with each other and who will lead them. Neither the tension nor the complexity of the characters' personas is easily dismissed, making for a very enjoyable viewing experience.Better done than most - Screenfiend
Science fiction has suffered with incredible mediocrity on TV and in Film. Excellent stories are mangled by deplorable screenplay, cheap sets, boring direction. This series escapes all that foolishness. The productions take great concepts and add to them with wit and edgy imagination. The execution is consistently good and some performances are gripping. Lets hope this becomes the new standard.
