He - or is it she? - slices, they stitch. He maims, they heal. Plastic surgeons Sean McNamara and Christian Troy have vowed to make whole the victims of the elusive, mysterious serial slasher called the Carver. But mending the rifts in their own families and careers will require much more than their famed technical skills. Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon return for a sensational Season 3 filled with eroticism, suspense and medical challenges ranging from a daring facial transplant to a 650-pound woman whose skin has fused with her sofa. There's a new doctor on staff, too: Dr. Quentin Costa, a tango expert and perhaps an expert at dissecting the practice for his own ends. Plus: Julia launches a new career, troubled Matt falls in with skinheads and the Carver turns out to be... Sorry, our lips are sealed. Watch and find out.

just when i thought i had seen everything, i decided to rent nip and tuck.i was delighted.it is different than anything i have seen before.a little sexy,a little gross, with twists and crazy plots.easy to follow.very entertaining.the acting is good, lighting is good.it is a bit addictive. It's the beginning of the end...The Carver is finally unveilled. - movie_goer
Nip/Tuck finds their niche'!
Starting with: a strong conclusion, from the cliffhanger of season 2 when the Carver uses Christian as his next 'Art Project'.
However the storyline drifts away halfway through the season, leaving us wondering why we bother to invest anymore time then we've already done. The lingering Unanswered Question stains the series with a Huge Elephant in the room. Thankfully the last 4 episodes takes us back on track (after so much complaints to the producer FX in there own way makes things right again).
Through a long process of correcting the destruction Carver left behind. Both Troy & McNamara reverse the horrific mutilations, but not without resistance and fear. Both Doctors are tormented, by the consequences of helping those who needed them most, the word courage is not echoed lightly. I'm still inspired by the imaginary work of these duo surgeons have achieved.Loin d'être superficiel... - Amay
