Good, creepy fun - Sheenie
Back in the days when there was no gore or nudity on television, it took a good plot and decent acting to get people's attention. That's what this series delivers. Alfred Hitchcock had a way of spinning an unusual story that kept audience's attention. Half the fun is identifying all the famous actors before they hit it big!Second season and still as enjoyable - Coconut_Willy
Good stories, good actors, presented with humor by the Master himself; if you don't mind watching old black and white television shows, you won't de disappointed. I thought that this second season though did not start too well as the first few episodes are a bit too subtle but after that, it picked up right where season one ended. The stories always have interesting (although sometimes very predictable) twists. The cast is again incredibly good with numerous familiar faces. The prologues also continue to be interesting. If you're not a dedicated fan, season one might be enough for you but if you enjoyed it and want more, this is a very nice way to get good entertainment 22 minutes at a time. This one does not have episode summaries that give out most of the punches...The classic!! - KW--
Alfred Hitchcock is the classic in thrillers - even though these tales are 'old' television programs, the story telling is amazing - nothing else has been created to even be close. It is great to see this availablity on DVD - so these tales can keep on being told. Check them out!
