An Evening With Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder
You've been warned.
Starring acclaimed indie film director Kevin Smith and his trusty sidekick Jason Mewes, this unrated and uncensored DVD takes viewers to London and Toronto for a no holds barred Q&A with college students about filmmaking, pop culture and general questions that get to the bottom of who Smith "the person" is.

If you are not a fan of Kevin Smith's movies or if you don't know much about that, don't bother watching this one. If you are a fan, then you should enjoy this immensely.
Yes, it is blue, it is crude. But, that is his style. He stays true to himself and nobody should go into this one expecting otherwise.
I found the first DVD, which contained the Toronto show, to be the most entertaining. The interaction with the crowd was great.
As for the London show, it definitely had it's moments but it fell flat in some places, mostly due to some boring questions.
All things considered, this is for fans only. Not nearly as good as the first - eoguy
I had high hopes for this set. I thought the first one was hilarious, and the Superman/Jon Peters and Prince stories were priceless. This second set just doesn't have the same chops. Smith rambles more but ends up in fewer places, and the "topical" material seems very dated now. Affleck's career meltdown, ranking on "Jersey Girl" and "Gigli", bagging Mel Gibson and "Passion of the Christ" - it all might have been interesting 18 months ago when people were actually talking about that stuff, but today, it just seems kind of boring and irrelevent. If that's all the material available to work with, there should have been a push to get this set out sooner so that it didn't come off like thumbing through old copies of "Entertaiment Weekly" in your doctor's waiting room. I love Kevin Smith, "Clerks II" is genius, but this set is a snoozer. If you want an entertaining evening with Kevin Smith, rent the "Clerks II" set and wallow in the terrific documentary and bonus features.Harder is not necessarily better; Smith fans will still be happy. - TheShamus
Before watching "An Evening With Kevin Smith 2", I checked out the original a few days earlier. The sequel continues the same format of the original -- with Smith on a stage answering questions from fans.
The original film demonstrated Smith's impressive ability to tell entertaining stories in an impromptu manner.
The sequel is split into two discs (approximately two hours each). The first disc is filmed in Roy Thompson Hall (Toronto, Canada). Smith talks about his love for Canada and Canadians. He continues with lots of "dick" jokes, and plenty of "Tim Hortons" and "hockey" references. Smith makes it clear --- he absolutely loves Canada.
The second disc is London, England -- which provides lots of cultural comparisons to the US.
In general, this set is more personal. There is less "insider" information. There are several references from the first DVD. While this disc can be enjoyed on its own, you will miss a few of the "joke" references from the first movie.
While the original Smith film was editted between sites, the offerings in the second video do not appear to be editted. While this is even more impressive, it results in a sometimes "uneven flow" which results in the sessions not always ending on a "high note".
There is even more profanity in this release, and the stories are not quite as engaging (perhaps the stories are equally engaging, but after 8 hours the concept is not as "fresh").
Regardless, if you enjoyed the first one, you should enjoy the second one -- maybe just a little less. Regardless of whether you like his movies, Smith tells entertaining stories. This is laced with profanity, sexual innuendo -- but Jay and Silent Bob fans wouldn't have it any other way. Particularly interesting for the Canadian disc.
