Boston Legal: Season 2
Created by television mastermind David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, The Practice, Picket Fences) and featuring an Emmy Award-winning cast including William Shatner, Candice Bergen, and James Spader, Season Two of Boston Legal is socially relevant, wickedly funny, and infectiously fresh... It's an open and shut case!

This is probably the bests eason of thie show for me!! The cast is great and the chemistry between Shatner and Spader is off the charts!! I cannot believe that I never saw this show on TV! Seriously check this series out but make sure you see season one first!!Not Season1, but worth watching - Ralston_McTodd
Season 2 involves cast changes & some work and some do not. The major change is to increase the "likeability" of Shore & Crane (Spader & Shatner); this season is about them being buddies. The edge is taken off each character(Shore's heart-of-gold overwhelms his Season 1 demeanor and Crane is more cute than nasty)and that's a shame. The adventures go way over the top of believability until Denny Crane begins to realize that he's in a TV series. Still, the characters are fun and the issues are topical and although farce has replaced subtlety, it's still an enjoyable series.Hmmm - Elliott1
I've only seen the first two discs from Season Two, but so far the season is much more clownish and slapsticky than the witty Season One. Still fun, but I'm beginning to wonder if the shmaltz always under the surface in this series is about to rise to the top.
