I have never really watched family guy as a series on tv but I really wanted to see what the movie was all about. While the show can be abrasive and sometimes too rude for my liking it is also terribly funny and a valide Simpsons replacement in my books.Hilarious - suss2it
This volume was very funny. It seems the producers have found what they wanted to do with show, as it is in this volume where the characters truly change from the first 3 seasons. No complaints, since it's still funny.
The cutaway gags can get a tad bothersome after a while, but other than that very funny.
The special features were also pretty good, very interesting.

This is a brilliant show. Creator Seth McFarlane demonstrates that he is a comedic genious. He blends the standard family sit-com with rapid-fire pop culture references and satirical send ups of well-known celebrities and politicians.
The supporting voices are first-rate. This is a show I will happily re-visit any time I need a good laugh.
Viewer beware, there are no punches pulled in this series and there is something to offend everyone. If you are okay with that kind of humour, then this show is for you.
