Divergence
Suen is a depressed and rundown cop still obsessing over his girlfriend's sudden disappearance 10 years ago. While Suen extradites a witness, his bounty is murdered by an oddly principled assassin who seems to possess information that Suen himself would kill for. The witness' death is welcome news for a crooked businessman whose assets were frozen by the police, until his only son is kidnapped. Enter To, a lawyer who has always successfully protected his clients, and who coincidentally happens to be married to a woman who looks exactly like Suen's missing girlfriend. Each of these men will ultimately and painfully be drawn together until a violent and permanent Divergence becomes this film’s only forgone conclusion.

After about 120 minutes of boring pace, all you will have been treated to is One good Kill Scene, and One decent fight scene- but this speaks more for Asian Cinema as a whole because of the way they continue to invent great killing and fighting scenes.
Here, we have a Good Guy Cop who's been wallowing away missing his Girlfriend who disappeared 10 years ago.
Would you care for someone who moped around feeling sorry for themselves because a loved one seemed to have just fallen off the face of the Earth? I thought I did- for about 15 minutes, realizing then that a Good Hero really does need a Solid Goal.
Here's a Spoiler, but I so believe that you should not waste your time with this film, that I don't mind writing it...
After 110 minutes in, he's randomly told that she's dead!
And the other Protagonist, the Killer, doesn't even factor until at least an hour has passed- but by this time I'm sure most of us have stopped caring.
This is the type of film that ruins one's night- unless, of course, you have another film to watch.
There are no redeeming qualities such as Camera Work, design or sound. Even the Subtitles have spelling mistakes, and the characters ramble on, and on, so you miss most of what's on screen do to reading.
