Devdas

Young Devdas is born into an aristocratic family, with every privilege imaginable. As a child, his only playmate is Paro, a girl from a middle-class family that lives nearby. As they grow up, their friendship grows into love, but Devdas must go away to England to further his education. When he returns, his father forbids him from marrying his love and he ends up with the courtesan Chandramukhi.
