Twin peaks first season was amazing, Phenominal and an instant favorite for me. The classic Series had promising dialogue that wasn't comparitive to anything TV had to offer at the time.
Season 2 Frost and Lynch made the worst mistake producers could ever do: They changed the direction of the series, and nixed the orginal storyline. Although i admit it was amusing to see David Duchovony play a cross dresser, the shows once flaming spark was burnt out by it's over the top plots and Dale Cooper's fizzled attempt to woe us. Cancelling the show to further avoid anymore humiliation was the best desion CBS could of made.Twin Peaks: Season 2 - Arabella
Wonderfull, entertaining, and mysterious. I had to see them all in one night, could not wait! Worth seeing the pilot before if you want to have some sleep before the series end. The music is very good, the cast is well matched and the story is breathtaking! Not as good as the first season, but still worth watching - LunaSkya
The first season of Twin Peaks was easily among the most enjoyable television watching experiences. The second season can't quite get there: it stays strong until the mystery (left over from season 1) is solved, then starts meandering aimlessly. Without a strong story arc that unifies the many side stories, some of the side stories quickly get boring. Still, the show provides enough highly enjoyable moments and weird head trips to keep watching.
