Weeds: Season 2
Funnier, darker and more daring, the second season of this acclaimed Showtime series reaches a higher ground. Golden Globe winner Mary-Louise Parker stars as Nancy Botwin, the soccer mom who had to learn how to deal – pot, that is – after the death of her husband. Now, her business is a hit. But keeping up with the neighbours in this suburban utopia isn’t easy. She’s joined up with a few of her closest friends, and together they’re facing life’s highs and lows – because even in paradise, nobody’s perfect. Don’t miss Weeds, an addictive comedy, the highest grade TV has to offer.

*Weeds* is the best sendoff of suburban life that we've seen on television, perhaps ever, certainly since Roseanne & Cosby.
To be honest Dexter brought me to Weeds, during the Hiatus I scamble to enjoy TV shows that offer Action, drama and intense atmospheres... Breaking Bad & Weeds seems to ease that edge off boredom. With great writing, and a superb cast, not to mention this new take on Malvina Reynolds' anthem (a different performer doing the song every week -- way to go for helping out the Reynolds' estate!), and the plot twists with the DEA agent and Conrad, the show surpassed my very high expectations (pun intended).so-so.... - Pearljam
Fantastic second season for this quirky and unique series. When I thought it couldn't get better, it did. As the disk outlines, the plot does get dark however, they maintain a lot of humour in the characters and circumstances surrounding their lives. Very well done.Way to go Huskeroo - rosygoat
From the beginning with their theme song of little boxes, right through this series, it is absolutely delightful. Nancy keeps digging herself into more trouble and through trial and error finds a way around it. All the characters are delightful especially the brother in law who fits this maladjusted family. And Elizabeth Perkins plays a most perfect controlling bitch who insists she is gods answer to this boxed town of agrestic. The second year was a real nail biter and I am hoping the third season will not disappoint.
